Remember The Girl With Over A 1000 Letters In Her Name? See Where She Is Now (Photos)

In 1991, a 6-year-old girl who had precisely 1,023 letters in her first name and 36 in her middle name earned a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records for having the longest name ever. 

The girl's mother, CoSandra Williams, revealed that she had spent years planning her daughter's name. The name was so long, her friends had to nickname her Jamie. 

When the girl turned 12, in I997, she and her mother were interviewed on the Oprah Winfrey show.

 “I wanted to get away from those old plain names we've been using for so many years,” CoSandra said when asked why she chose the name. She also revealed that she wanted to break a Guinness world record.

Jamie's father, James Williams of Beaumont, Texas, where Jamie was born told Seattletimes that he thought his wife was joking.

 The name, a compilation of more than 100 shorter first names, which includes names of many of the girl's relatives, the names of several countries and cities.

Where Is Jamie Williams Now? 

Jamie got married to an American-based Nigerian, Uchenna Agboje and they both have a daughter.

The 37-year-old now goes by a simpler version of the name, Rhoshandia Koyaan Williams-Agboje. 

She lives with her family in Humble, Texas and practically stays off social media.
