70-year-old Vera Ellen Wang was born in New York City, NY in June 1949. She is of Chinese descent; she was born to Cheng Ching Wang, a medicine company owner and Florence Wu, a former translator at the United States.
Wang is an American fashion designer and a former figure skater who has a net worth of $700 million dollars.

She is most widely known for her wedding gown designs, which have been worn by quite a number of celebrities, including Alicia Keys, Chelsea Clinton, Holly Hunter, Uma Thurman and Jennifer Garner.
She married her husband, Arthur Becker in 1989. The couple adopted two children, Cecilia (30) and Josephine (27). She and her husband were together for 23 years before they got divorced in July 2012.
