“Jim Iyke Approached Me First For The Fake Beef”— Daddy Freeze Says, Shares Screenshot

Popular OAP, Daddy Freeze has revealed that he was the first candidate, Nigerian actor, Jim Iyke, approached for the false fight, before he settled for Uche Maduagwu.

It would be recalled that a fight between Jim and Uche in a video, had gone viral in 2021, capturing the attention of the internet for weeks. In the video, Iyke was seen raining punches on Maduagwu at an event.

Much to the dismay of social media users who are presently feeling gullible and used, both actors revealed on Wednesday, that it was all a stunt.

In an interview with Chude Jideonwo, Jim Iyke said the viral fight with Uche Maduagwu was orchestrated to promote his movie, ‘Bad Comments’.

“I called the man, we had an understanding, I paid very well for it, rolled out the script, called Moses in, we shot it and we’re about to release the ending of it. I’m not stupid. I will never make that kind of mistake,” Iyke revealed.

On his own part, Uche Maduagwu, revealed that he was paid a whopping N4.8m by Jim Iyke, to pull the stunt on the public and promote the said movie.

“He paid me N3.6 million to promote Bad Comments movie and added N1.2 million after it went viral. I’m not just the most talked-about movie star in Africa. I’m the biggest brand influencer,” Maduagwu boasted.

However, Daddy freeze has reacted to the revelation, claiming that he was the first candidate for the stunt before Uche Maduagwu got the role.

Sharing a screenshot on Instagram to prove he wasn't lying, he adviced social media users not to always take everything they see online seriously.

“Do you know that I was the first to be approached by @jim.iyke for the online beef? We had concluded but then I ended up being unavailable.
