“You Were Not Arrested But Granted Bail?”— Nigerians Grill FFK For Denying His Arrest


Former minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode is currently being dragged by social media users after he denied being arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Nicolekaima’s blog reports.

Recall we reported that Femi Fani-Kayode, who was detained by the commission from 2pm on Tuesday, to about 8:30pm, said he was invited and flew to Lagos to see the anti-graft agency.

 The former minister, who after his release, promptly strolled into the George Hotel to have dinner claimed that after six hours, the agency granted him bail on “self recognition”, adding that the operatives were polite and professional. 

 Reacting to his dismissal, followers have taken to the gram to drag him for his comments, while asking why anyone who wasn't arrested, required bail. “You were never arrested but they granted you bail???😂😂😂😂” — @biyisamuel
