    Fulani Bandits Abduct 6 Persons In Zamfara, Demand N1.5m, 6 Motorcycles


    Fulani bandits have reportedly kidnapped six persons – including children, at Bindin Village, Dansadau
    Emirate of Zamfara State.

    According to reports from an uncle to one of the kidnapped persons, the victims were forcefully taken at gunpoint on their way to the farm.

    The man revealed that in the telephone conversation he had with the bandits, they demanded the sum of N1.5m and six motorcycles.

    He further added that the armed fulani kidnappers gave them an ultimatum– a few days to settle the amount in order to get them released and return to their village.

    In recent times, Zamfara State has seen an upsurge in activities of bandits in the last three years, with hardly any improvement in the situation.
