#EndSARS: Policemen Watch As Thugs Burn Over 200 Cars Belonging To Protesters In Abuja

About 200 cars belonging to protesters have been burnt by some paid hoodlums in Abuja in order to disrupt the ongoing #EndSARS protest.

In the early hours of Monday, October 19, the police were deployed to the protest ground to stop the protests and disperse the people but were unfortunately overpowered by the protesters.

Later in the day, some hoodlums clamped down on protesters with weapons, shooting at them and setting their parked vehicles on fire, while the police stood and watched.

It was gathered that the torching of cars started with the DJ’s truck followed by others, as countless protesters were left injured.

Despite the series of heinous attacks on them, the demonstrators have vowed to return in numbers to continue with their protest.

Even with the violent attacks, not one single hoodlum has been arrested. Meanwhile, armed policemen have been deployed to guard the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) building.
