This incident is happening barely 24 hours after a three storey building collapsed at Freeman Street in Lagos Island, leading to the death of three persons and nine others injured.

It was gathered that the building with nine shops and 15 rooms suffered partial collapse from the rear but the incident did not claim lives and no one was injured.
Before the unfortunate incident, the building was said to have shown signs of being distressed due to some cracks on the walls.
The distressed signs were also noticed on the pillars and the decking. Fortunately for the occupants, they all escaped unhurt and have been evacuated by the state response team.

The building has also been cordoned off to prevent any disaster.
