Palm Wine Tapper Narrowly Escape Brutal Death In Enugu

An elderly man identified as Emeka is presently thanking God for saving his life after he had a near death experience on Thursday night, July 2.
Emeka who is an indigene of Nkanu, Enugu State had a bad fall from a high palm tree, while tapping wine.

According to him, everything happened so quickly. He revealed that all he could remember was that all of a sudden, he fell from the tree and the pieces of sharp woods and thorns pierced through his back.

Neighbours had heard the loud thud and had ran to his rescue, crying and rushing him to the hospital. Fortunately, none of his vital organs or spinal cord was damaged and he is already recuperating.

A resident identified as Mama Nkechi said God will not let Emeka die because he had been supplying them with good palm wine for over 20 years.
Here's what she said;
“So many have died after falling from a palm tree, others have broken their backs and gone crippled, but God saved Papa!”
