Gov. Wike’s Special Assistant On Electronic Media, Simeon Nwakaudu Is Dead

The Special Assistant on Electronic Media to Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, Simeon Nwakaudu has reportedly Died.

Although details about his death is still sketchy as of the time of filling this rreport but he was said to have died after a brief illness.

In a statement released, the governor on behalf of his family, the government and good people of the State condoled with the bereaved family.

He described late Nwakaudu as a loyal and dedicated professional who contributed immensely to the implementation of the The NEW Rivers Vision.

He prayed for God to grant them the fortitude to bear the great loss.

Late Nwakaudu died today at the Rivers State University Teaching Hospital (RSUTH) after a brief illness.

The Late Nwakaudu hailed from Abia State and had worked with Governor Nyesom Wike while he was the Minster of State for Education. 

Nwakaudu, who is also a journalist was subsequently appointed as Special Assistant by Nyesom Wike, after he won the 2015 Governorship election in Rivers State.
