Tiwa Savage Tells Women To Stop Being Submissive, Says It Limits Their Potentials

Top Nigerian female singer, Tiwatope Savage popularly called Tiwa Savage, has taken to social media to share her thoughts on the modern African woman.

According to the ‘Wanted’ crooner, a lot of Africans still have the idea that the woman should be submissive. She noted that it wasn't such a bad idea but that she feels the modern African woman is being limited.

Times are evolving and black women, particularly in Africa are now more confident to speak up on things that concerns them and express how they feel when those things do not sit right with them. 

A few hours ago, the mother of oneu used her social media platform to talk about the matter, stating that women can be so much more than a stay at home as a wife or mother.

Here's what she wrote;

  “A lot of people in Africa still have the idea that a woman has to be submissive, stay at home and be the wife and mother. Don’t get me wrong. Those are great morals to keep.

“But I think the modern African woman, the modern black woman is being limited. We can do both.”
