A 70-year-old Indian priest has been arrested for beheading a man in his shrine and offering him as a sacrifice to end the Coronavirus pandemic in India.
According to Gulf News, Sansari Ojha from the Brahmani Dei Temple cut off 52-year-old Saroj Kumar Pradhan's head, told police that he killed him after a goddess ordered him in his dream to bring a human sacrifice in order to end to the coronavirus scourge in India.

Police said he beheaded Pradhan with an axe on Wednesday night in the temple's shrine after an argument ensued between them.
Detective Ashish Kumar Singh revealed that the priest was heavily intoxicated at the time of the incident and surrendered himself to the police when he realized what he had done the following day.
Police say after an investigation, they learnt that both men were known to be smoking marijuana before the attack.
The deceased’s body has been sent for an autopsy while the murder weapon has been confiscated from the shrine by Police as evidence.
