Sowore Starts Another Revolution, Tells Nigerians What To Do With Pots Against Buhari

Nigerian human rights Activist, Omoyele Sowore is set to stir another revolution against the government of
the day, following the abject poverty and hunger befalling the nation during this lockdown.

Sowore shared an online flyer asking people to start a pots and pans protest against the president of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari.

The idea is to bang empty pots and pans from your respective homes everyday for a week. Starting from April 25 to May 2.

Here's what he captioned it; “#RevolutionNow. Pots are empty, plates are empty and the stomach is very empty. Bang your pot(s) and pans at home, don't let hunger kill you at home because of their greed, corruption and incompetence.”

Omoyele Sowore started the movement called Revolution Now and had called for a Nationwide protest but was arrested by the Department of State Service (DSS) on August 3, 2019, two days before the protest was to hold. The founder of Sahara Reporters was however released from detention on December 24, 2019.
