Officials of Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN) have been spotted in Ajegunle, Lagos State, begging residents
to come and pay their electricity bills.
In the hilarious video that has since gone viral, the officials moved from one street to another with megaphones, under the scorching sun, pleading with people to come and pay their bills as it was long overdue.

Here's what the official was saying;
“Go and pay your NEPA bill. We understand with everybody, that it is not easy this period. But please and please, go and pay your bill. It has been overdue. Please. Federal Government is not paying for anybody's light...”
As hardship and stagnancy caused by the pandemic continues to bite hard on citizens, it seems paranoia has become the order of the day.
Recall NKB reported on Friday that an official of Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC) was beaten to stupor at Isale Igbeyin/ Grammar School axis of Abeokuta, Ogun State, simply because he distributed electricity bills.
