Runaway CEO Of Benignant Forte Investment Scam, Arrested At Hideout

NicoleKaima’s Blog reports that the CEO of Benignant Forte Investment Nigeria, Mr Philip Akor, has finally been arrested and detained by the police.

It would be recalled that Benignant Forte stopped paying investors their monthly ROI and also stopped collecting money from investors months ago.

After the investment platform crashed, Philip Akor had promised to refund the investors their capital in the next within 12 months but failed to do so.

It was later gathered that Mr Akor and his wife, who is a co-owner of the company, were on the run with investors funds, running into billions of naira.

However, a human rights activist, Harrison Gwamnishu, has taken to his Instagram account to announce the arrest of Mr Akor.
He wrote:

“After weeks in hideout and behind the scene LIVE VIDEO, The CEO of @benignant_forte Mr Akor Philip Paul has been arrested and currently in police detention. Thanks to Nigeria police for swift intervention in apprehending MR AKOOR.

“Investors are hereby notified of this development and reach out to Behind Bars Director Ofili Maureen Oby via 08124985004 for further steps to be taken.

We will ensure all those involved in this scheme do not escape justice. Please appreciate Nigeria Police Force Thank you all.”
