Gov. El-Rufai’s Wife, Hadiza Dragged For Using Twitter

Hadiza Isma El-Rufai, wife to the governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-rufai, has been lambasted by Nigerians
for using Twitter.

It would be recalled that On 5 June 2021, the Muhammadu Buhari-led government put an indefinite ban on Twitter, after the social media platform deleted genocidal tweets made by the President.

Since then, all those loyal to the government and in support of the ban, including the Kaduna State governor stayed off twitter.

 However, taking to her official twitter account on Wednesday, November 10, Hadiza announced her first tweet, since the ban. She revealed that she missed the bird app so much and that she wasn't breaking any laws as she wasn't using the platform from Nigeria.

 Here's what she tweeted;

“Hello everyone. This is my first tweet in so many months. God, how I missed Twitter. BTW, I'm not defying the authorities. I'm outside the country. Looking forward to utilizing the opportunity.” This however, didn't go down well with some social media users as they trolled the first lady over her tweet.
