A man has recently gone online to shared his dilemma as the family of the lady he intends to marry gave him a shocker when he went to get the list for the traditional rites.
Taking to his social media account, the man revealed the six pages long, typed marriage list given to him by lover’s family ahead traditional marriage.

The lady as revealed by the document hails from Biara Community in Gokana area of River State.
The very long marriage list which was tagged a logbook, included titles like: table of content, a cover page and pages containing items, cash required, removal of cobwebs from bride’s father’s house among others.
Some of the required items includes; original Chinese George, wrist watch, Chieftaincy cloth, a dozen of brassieres, hollandis material, “Pin of shoe” and many other items, too numerous to mention.
This strange marriage list from the lady’s family has stirred mixed reactions on social media as many have started questioning the main purpose surrounding this long list of items and cash requirements costing huge amount of finance.
Some wondered if the said family is outrightly selling off their daughter or giving her out in marriage.
