According to alleged reports, the hoodlums, were paid some money to disrupt the ongoing protests calling for the complete disbandment of the Police unit, Special Anti-Robbery Squad SARS.

It was gathered that the hoodlums were caught in Berger, Abuja, destroying properties and trying to stop the protests. The angry crowd subsequently beat them up to an inch of their lives.
In a video clip quickly going viral on social media, a group of protesters could be seen surrounding a couple of fulani men who were bloodied from the intense beating.
One of the men seemed unconscious, while the other, who was being questioned, had a deep cut on his forehead.
At the background of the video, someone could be heard saying that the fulani men do not understand or speak English.
