Olusegun Mimiko's administration, has dumped the People's Democratic party, PDP for All Progressives Congress, APC.
According to reports, the former Commisioner, made his decision known in a letter on Tuesday, August 4, sent to the chairman of his ward in Igboroko II ward 3, Owo.
Here's what the letter read;
“Effective from today 4th of July 2020, I hereby tender my resignation from the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in my ward Igboroko II ward 3.
“I took the decision because of my love for Owo Kingdom and to fully support the second term bid of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (SAN), also to further support my political mentor Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s presidential ambition in 2023.”
“I thank the leadership and members of the party at the ward, local, see and federal level for their support.”
