Huge Loans: China To Take Over Nigeria Through NLNG – Ononuju


Nigerian Politician and a member of people’s Democratic party (PDP), Katchi Ononuju has claimed that the most populated country in the world, China, is planning to take over Nigeria through the Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG).
Ononuju made the claim on Friday, July 31, during a broadcast on on African Independent Television (AIT). For a Longtime now, there has been controversies over Nigeria’s repeated borrowings from China.

This week, the House of Representatives found a controversial clause in the agreement of a 2018 Chinese loan taken by the federal government which could mean losing Sovereignty of some parts of the country, to China. 

Speaking on the development, Ononuju said that the Nigeria – China deal signed by the Buhari administration was documented in Chinese language. 

Ononuju said he has it on good authority that, “the Chinese authority are targeting the NLNG (Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas).

He disclosed that it was during a study of the documents the discovery that Nigeria signed off sovereignty to China, was made.

He also said that the Chinese  government were making their way to take over the country through NLNG.

“The Chinese government are planning to take over our NLNG, that is what it is. They will not touch our military, or diplomatic assets but the NLNG,” he asserted.
