Televangelist and General overseer of Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleman has accused the government
of failing in its duty of protecting innocent Nigerians.
Suleman’s reaction is coming at a time when operatives of the Department of State Services, DSS, and members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, clashed in Emene, Enugu State.

According to the leadership of the group, the DSS officials had shot and killed armless IPOB members, who were said to be simply meeting and exercising together.
Taking to his official twitter handle, the clergyman noted that the citizens can not be patriotic to a brutal government.
He said they were not obligated to respect and obey a government that violates its social contract. According to the clergyman, the government was violating a pre-existing social contract with Nigerians.
