I Regret Being A Nigerian – Last Words Of A UI Graduate As He Hangs Himself (Viewers Discretion)

Tragic reports reaching us has confirmed the death of a young graduate from the University of Ibadan, who left a suicide note saying he regrets being born a Nigerian, before taking his own life.

The incident happened on Saturday evening, July 4, when the body of a young man (names withheld), was found hanging from the ceiling in his room.

Family and friends who were close to him revealed he was okay and that they had no reason to suspect he was suicidal. 

It was gathered that the deceased left a suicide note, where he lamented about the too much suffering he has been through. The note also talked about how he couldn't take it anymore. He had attributed taking his life to the suffering, saying that he regretted ever being a Nigerian.

The suicide scene was nothing short of horrible and would bring tears to your eyes. The contents of the room itself spelt of the ‘suffering’ the deceased wrote about in his letter.

His remains have been evacuated and deposited at the Morgue.
