Alleged Quack Plastic Surgeon, Dr Anu Arrested, Charged To Court Over Botched Surgery

According to reports, Doctor Anu Fella, owner of cosmetic surgery outfit in Lagos, MedContour has allegedly been arrested and charged to court by the Federal Government.

It was gathered that Dr Anu was arrested by the police on on Wednesday at  about  11:33am.

The alleged quack surgeon was accused of carrying out a botched cosmetic surgery that led to the death of one Mrs. Nneka Miriam Barbra Onwuzuligbo, a former beauty queen. 

There were also complaints from some of her clients who patronized the clinic including social media influencer, Omotola Taiwo popularly known as Omohtee. 

Recall NKB reported that the clinic was sealed by Federal Competitive and Consumer Protective Commission (FCCPC) in May over alleged lack of professionalism and competence. 

This occurred following complaint from Omohtee who had raised alarm over a cosmetic surgery Dr Anu did on her that almost took her life. 

According to the FCCPC, there was sufficient probable cause to inquire into the consumer protection aspects of the representations and services of Med Contour and its operatives.

This subsequently led to the arrest and prosecution of Anu Fella by FCCPC.
