It was gathered that he was being suspected of being a ritualist, and to be responsible for countless kidnappings in the area of Emene market in Enugu State.

Subsequently, residents began to monitor the said mad man, to find out if he was truly mad and if he was really involved in such evil atrocities.
A group of men who were described as a vigilante group decided to confront him one fateful day, only to discover that he had five human heads and two phones in his possession.
An eyewitness revealed that;
“After the mad man was caught, he immediately removed the SIM card and swallowed it.”
He said the youths got annoyed and pounced on him till he fell into a coma. He was seconds away from being set ablaze before the police arrived and took him away.

During interrogation, he confessed that he travels from Ekiti to Edo State for his kidnapping business and has been in it for a long time.
Confirming the report, Joseph Femi, the state Police Public Relations Officer, assured residents that the suspect would be brought to justice after investigations.
