Professional photographer, Busola Dakolo has taken to her instagram account to react to the news that Seyitan Babatayo, the lady who accused nigerian singer, D’banj of raping her was ‘forced’ to delete her tweets.
It was earlier reported that Seyitan had been arrested by the singer, after she made allegations of sexual assault on Twitter. Soon after her arrest, the tweets were deleted and she made a new tweet, claiming she was not arrested and had decided to leave everything in the past.

The lawyers of Seyitan Babatayo, the young woman who stated that Dapo Oyebanjo, also known as D'banj, raped her in 2018, told Premium Times their client was forced to delete her tweets while in police custody.

Her lawyer also said that while in police custody, she was forced to post new tweets claiming she was not arrested and wanted to move on.

Per Seyitan's account, she slept in the same room, on the floor, with criminals. What is the Nigerian Police telling us; that all Nigerians are equal but some are more equal than others?⁣ ⁣

What message are they passing across to the many survivors who are in the wing waiting for the right time to speak their truth? This is unacceptable.

The Lagos Police Public Relations Officer, Bala Elkana, did not pick calls to his mobile and has yet to reply to an inquiry on Seyitan's allegations at press time.⁣”
