Rare Picture Of RMD Washing Plates As He Calls For Men To Start Doing Chores

Veteran Actor, Richard Mofe-Damijo popularly called RMD, has called on men to practice gender equality not
only at the workplace but also at home by helping with house chores.

The actor who is also a lawyer took to his Instagram account to share a picture of him wearing an apron as he did some dirty dishes. He started a campaign for gender equality, while he explained that as an only child, he learnt how do all kinds of chores from his mother.

“Being an only child, I was raised by my Mom to do all chores, so the issue of only the wife (woman) should cook, clean, wash might be alien to me but I know it is not to most men, which is why today I join my voice to the #HeForShe campaign and remind our men that #GenderEquality is not just in the workplace but at home.

“We can find a good balance between office work and house chores, especially during this lockdown period.”

RMD called on Banky W, Ay, Ali Baba and other male celebrities to help the gender equality campaign and spread the awareness.
