Mother Provides Axe, As Her Two Sons Hack Their Neighbor To Death In Lagos

 

Police in Lagos have nabbed two brothers identified as Habib Olapari and Rilwan Olapari - a teenager. One Peter was also arrested for allegedly axing their neighbour, Taiwo Eluyemi to death in front of his son.

According to reports, the suspects were said to have committed the alleged offence on April 23, at their residence, 7, Taiwo Street, Mafoluku Oshodi.

It was gathered that the deceased, a neighbour to the Olaparis, had complained about the many friends they brought to his apartment to watch television.

A hot argument was said to have ensued amongst the parties, which was later settled, or so the deceased thought. It was gathered that Habib and his accomplices to allegedly took the victim unawares and attacked him with an axe from behind.

On that fateful day, the suspects pretended to be fighting with each other, which made the deceased to intervene in a bid to broker peace, but he was instead, axed from behind. He reportedly suffered excessive bleeding from his wounds and later gave up the ghost.

The Lagos State police have declared the suspects’ mother, Iya Adura and a certain Tobi wanted for the roles they played in the murder of the victim.

According to an eyewitness, Iya Adura provided the axe used on the deceased. After their arrest, the suspects were transferred to State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence 

Department (SCIID) Panti.
