Stop Borrowing Money From Other Countries – Harrysong Begs Buhari

Nigerian song writer, Harrison Tare Okiri also known as Harrysong has taken to his twitter handle to plead
with the President, Muhammadu Buhari to stop borrowing money from other countries.

In a tweet he made some hours after Buhari’s request for 850billion Naira loan was approved by the Senate, the ‘Fine girl’ crooner advised the president to invest in education as Nigeria's economy needs brains to sustain it.

Here's what he tweeted;
“Buhari invest in education, it’s never too late. Start paying students. We need brains to sustain this country’s economy. And please stop borrowing from other countries ooooooooo I dey shake.”

On Tuesday, April 28, the Senate quickly approved the president's request to secure a fresh loan of N850 billion.
The President had asked the Senate to approve the loan for the Federal Government to enable his regime adequately finance the 2020 budget.
