Fire Guts Down Over 15 Shops At Owode-Onirin Market In Ikorodu

A huge inferno has gutted over 15 shops in Owode-Onirin market located in the Ikorodu part of Lagos State on
Sunday, December 1.

While an official statement is yet to made concerning the cause of the inferno, reports have it that the fire started from flames in one of the

shops in the market which subsequently extended to affect not less than 15 other shops.

Nevertheless, the fire has been put off according to a personnel of the Lagos State Rescue Unit and Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA).

LASEMA has revealed that although some valuables and goods were destroyed, no life was lost in the incident.
