Lagos Bus Bursts Into Flames In Kwara State

A commercial bus conveying passengers from Lagos State, upon reaching Illorin, Kwara State, bursted into flames, on Friday night, December 17. 

 Spokesman for the Kwara Fire Service, Hassa Adekunle, said in a statement on Saturday, that the incident occurred at about 19:59hrs, opposite Challenge Bookshop, Challenge Area, Ilorin.

According to Mr Adekunle, no life was lost as the firemen were able to stop the ravaging fire on time thereby preventing other vehicles within the area from getting burnt. He added that the bus was burnt severely. 

 Mr Adekunle urged the public never to hesitate to send distress calls to fire brigade for rescue in case of any fire incident within their environs.
