Dowen College Shuts Down As Family Of Sylvester Oromoni Seeks Justice (Photos)

 

Dowen College has closed down the school, instructing students to stay at home for two days.

This is coming after a student named Sylvester Oromoni Jr. died after allegedly being tortured by fellow students for refusing to join their cult group in school.

 Nicolekaima's blog reported that two out of the four boys that were accused of beating the 12-year-old Sylvester Onoromoni to death, have purportedly been flown out of the country by their parents.

 Dowen College has denied the allegation that the boy was beaten to death by bullies while insisting that he sustained his injuries from playing football. 

 The family also released a video of their son moments before his death to prove that he was indeed tortured. Reacting to this, Dowen College which is now trending negatively on the micro-blogging platform, Twitter, has asked students to stay home today, Dec. 3, and on Monday Dec. 6. 

 The school said the break will enable the students read for forthcoming examinations.
