Comedian Cute Abiola Declared Missing As Current Whereabouts Is Unknown

The whereabouts of Nigerian skitmaker, Abdulgafar Ahmad Oluwatoyin, popularly known as Cute Abiola, is currently unknown, Nicolekaima’s blog reports.

Sharing screenshots of a WhatsApp message on his Instagram story, Comedian Macaroni revealed that the family of Cute Abiola was worried as he is nowhere to be found.

According to the WhatsApp message Macaroni shared, the 24-year-old comedian who doubles as a naval officer, had left for work at 6am on Monday morning, November 15.

On reaching his office at Navy Town, he had called his wife to inform her that he had arrived at work; but that was the last time anyone heard from him as he did not return home, and all efforts to contact him proved abortive.

The source who sent the WhatsApp message also revealed that family members were suspecting that the comedian might have been arrested and detained by the Navy.

“The frustrating part is that nobody is saying anything as to the offence he committed, but that he has been detained on the order of the Nigerian Navy Headquarters,” the source said, adding that Cute Abiola was an ulcer patient.

“Not feeding an ulcer patient as punishment for an undisclosed offence is something to be worried about.” the source said. Taking to his Twitter account, Mr Macaroni called on the Nigerian Navy to clarify if they were detaining Cute Abiola, in order to put his family's mind at rest.

“If the Nigerian Navy has any information to help cute Abiola's family and friends confirm his whereabouts, or if he is in their custody, I think the honourable thing to do would be to clarify details surrounding his detention and put everybody's mind at rest. Haba!” Macaroni tweeted.
