It was gathered that the bandits announced their arrival saying, “Hausa men don come o. Make una come fight”, before opening fire and shooting sporadically.

Residents who ran and hid for their lives also revealed that the attackers went from house to house, in the wee hours of Friday, October 23, shooting and setting houses on fire.

As at the time of filing this report, the number of casualties were unknown. The reason for the attack is also yet to be ascertained, but a fulani man made a post on Twitter, inciting that they were behind the attacks and that this was only the beginning.

All this is coming after, former presidential aspirant, Garba Adamu, made an inciting video on social media, where he spoke in hausa, telling Hausa/fulani people that the #EndSARS protest going on in the country was done to remove Muhamadu Buhari as president.
