Akwuzu SARS: James Nwafor Caught Hiding In Ghana, Beaten To Stupor (Video)



Former SARS O/C CSP James Nwafor (rtd.), has been found hiding at his residence in Ghana by some Nigerians who proceeded to beat him to stupor.

The recent #EndSARS protest has exposed a great deal of atrocities that have been committed by many officers of the now-defunct Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), including those perperated by James Nwafor.

Nwafor is a fearsome former SARS operative accused of supervising the killings of innocents. After his retirement, he joined Obiano’s team as Chief Security Officer (CSO). 

Media consultant, Chinedu Ekeke, describes the sacked aide as the “notorious James Nwafor of Awkuzu SARS, said to have killed scores of innocent young men in Anambra. 

Over the years, SARS operatives in Awkuzu, a town in Oyi local government area of Anambra state have acquired so much notoriety that it has been deemed by majority as the country’s most dreaded specialized police unit.

Back in January 19, 2013, villagers in Amansea, Awka, Anambra state woke up to find the bodies of over 35 people floating on Ezu River, with no idea who killed them.

Four years later, a report released by the International Society for Civil Liberties and the Rule of Law, on July 2017, accused the Special Anti-Robbery Squad of Anambra State Police Command of being responsible for the 35 corpses discovered in the Ezu River, Amansea.
Following the recent outcry on SARS, Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State, fired James Nwafor from his administration. 

However, after he was sacked, Nwafor disappeared. It was later discovered that he fled the country to Ghana. 



Now a video footage has captured the moment, some Nigerians caught him in Ghana and started pummelling him for the heinous crimes he committed.
