Turbaning: “Stay Away From Pastor Ize-Iyamu”– Adeboye Tells RCCG Pastors

General overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor E.A Adeboye has told his Pastors to stay
away from the All Progressives Congress (APC), Governorship candidate, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu.

This is following the turbaning of Osagie Ize-Iyamu by the Otaru of Auchi at the Otaru’s Palace on Thursday, August 13.

Pastors of the Redeemed Christian Church of God have moved against him by disowning him.

“He is not one of us. We are not like that in the Redeemed Christian Church of God” one of the senior pastors said.

It was also confirmed that efforts by Pastor Adeboye, to reach Osagie Ize-Iyamu over his turbaning in order to seek clarification, has so far proved abortive.

Pastor Adeboye who was visibly worried on the negative image the turbaning might have on his ministry has told other pastors of the church to stay away from Ize-Iyamu until there is clarification over the desperate move to turn the Bible on its head.

Ize-Iyamu has been a minister in the Redeemed Christian Church of God. In 1998, he became Pastor of the Upper Room Parish of the Church, located at Adesuwa Road, G.R.A., Benin City.

He was later made the Area Pastor of the GRA 1 Area Church overseeing three parishes with headquarters at the Upper Room parish.

With the recent development, members of Osagie Ize-Iyamu’s branch have so far been quiet and unable to speak in public for fear of being suspended from the church for speaking against constituted authority.
