A video of a young man threatening to hack two thousand Access Bank PLC customer accounts and removing their
funds had surfaced on Monday, August 31.
However, while making the video, he mistakenly captured the screen of his laptop which had his name, “Ihebuzo Chris” displayed on it.

A cursory look at his LinkedIn profile, shows him to be a web developer conversant with programming languages like PHP, HTML and AngularJs. His profile also shows that he has about ten years of experience in the field.
The profile page showed that he was a student of Light House Polytechnic and has a diploma in Computer Science.
Following the threat, Access bank issued a statement urging their customers not to panic as their accounts are safe, they also revealed that the police have been alerted.
“Criminals have posted pages purporting to contain customer account information. We’ve alerted law enforcement agencies and ask that you ignore the post. There is no threat to your account balances. Pls. Continue to follow security protocol by never sharing your account details,” the bank stated.
