Man Punctures His Brother’s Jugular Over A Bottle Of Fanta In Lagos (Viewers Discretion)

A young man identified as Henry Banks was reportedly stabbed to death on Thursday, May 28, by his elder brother, nicknamed Shakara, in Ojo, Lagos State.

According to reports, trouble started when the deceased, 22, bought a bottle of fanta to drink. It was learnt that the elder brother wanted some of the soft drink but was refused.

The deceased’s minor act of refusal then led to a heated argument, and subsequently, a physical fight ensued between them. In the process, the Suspect picked up a knife and stabbed his younger brother in the neck, severing his jugular vein.

It was gathered that, the victim was promptly rushed to a nearby hospital but they rejected him. He however died while he was being rushed to another hospital.

A source who narrated the incident said;

“Why are our hospitals heartless, at least they should have given first aid.

“Why will a brother do this to his younger brother because of #100 fanta...pls let us avoid anything violence as we only know the beginning but can't predict what the outcome will be, now a young vibrant life is wasted at just 22years. May his soul RIP.”

The Suspect has been handed over to the police command in the area.
