    Residents tie "Juju" charms for NEPA officials


    Due to the constant blackouts and epileptic power supply in the country, people have taken more desperate measures against PHCN officials


    A community in Niger state decided to take matters into their own hands by ‘repelling’ officials of the Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN) who come to disconnect their wires.

    The residents of the community allegedly took to the streets and tied up charms to the electrical poles, in order to discourage PHCN officials from cutting the wires as they have sworn not to pay any bills for worthless and unrendered service. No light no bills.
