Popular Nigerian author and lawyer, Reno Omokiri has dragged Salamatu Gbajiabiamila, wife to the Speaker of House Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila over a very expensive ‘fashion disaster’, Nicolekaima's blog reports.

Trouble started when a picture of Salamatu wearing very expensive Designer clothes, bags and shoes found its way to the internet.

According to the reports, the total cost of the outfit in the picture is approximately N12 million, when the prices of all the accessories were converted from dollars to Naira with the current exchange rate.

In the picture, Salamatu was seen wearing a Gucci Supreme Jacket, Rick Owens Boots, and a Rolex Wristwatch. The picture was met with a lot of backlash from Nigerians on social media, who disapproved of her extravagant spendings on designer outfits. Taking to his social media accounts, Reno Omokri also took a swipe at the speaker’s wife, criticizing her fashion sense and the amount of money she splashed.

He wondered how Salamatu could spend so much and still not look fashionable.
