Who Are The “We”? – FFK Tackles Buba Galadima Over Igbo Presidency Comments

Former Aviation minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has tackled Buba Galadima over the comment he made on national TV, saying, “we will support candidate from South East, but not Igbo presidency”.

The 72-year-old politician had said this on Monday, November 16, during The Morning Show on Arise Television while speaking on restructuring from the EndSARS protest.

In his words, he said; “I have a lot of friends from South East, I can vote for any of them if they present themselves but I am not agreeing to Igbo presidency.”

Taking to twitter to react to the comment, FFK has asked Galadima to explain what he meant by “We” and what he meant by the statement.
The former minister wrote;

“Who are the "we" and what exactly does this mean? When a Fulani was supported for the Presidency did we say we will support a North Westerner and not a Fulani? Why the double standard?

“We must call a spade a spade. The people of the South East are Igbos, the word IGBO is not a dirty one and there is NOTHING wrong with an Igbo Presidency.”
