An official of the Electricity Distribution Company (DISCO) has been left hanging on an electric pole in Oghara, Delta State, after angry residents made away with his ladder while he was disconnecting their electricity.

A short video clip that surfaced online, captured the moment the official gripped the Electric Pole tightly, in order to prevent a tragic fall to the ground, having been stripped of his ladder.
According to reports from the eyewitness who made the video, trouble started when the agent came to disconnect their source of power, just a few days into the new year, 2022.
The youths who seemed disgusted by the Disco official’s actions decided to teach him a lesson by dragging the ladder away.

They showed no sympathy for the man clinging for his dear life, as they dragged the ladder farther away while others present at the scene laughed.
