“Who Is Responsible?”— Hilarious Reactions Over Aisha Buhari’s Alleged Baby Bump

A picture of Nigeria’s first lady, Aisha Buhari, supporting what looked like a baby bump with one hand has elicited hilarious reactions on social media, Nicolekaima's blog reports.

It would be recalled that the first lady had eloped to Dubai in September 2020, citing insecurity at the Presidential Villa. Aisha had promptly left the country after her daughter, Hanan had her wedding.

However, she returned to Nigeria in March 2021, six months after she left for the United Arab Emirates.

A picture has now surfaced online, showing the First lady and the President, Muhammadu Buhari, standing side by side. Aisha seemed to be heavily pregnant, as she placed a hand on her protruded stomach.

Reactions have since trailed the picture as netizens have said that this was the first time they had seen a pregnant First Lady. Some others are wondering who is responsible for the purported pregnancy, adding that the President is too old to perform his marital duties.

“Who get the child wey she d expect? 75 years old Buhari go fit pregnant woman again???? I'm curious about this pic. Something fishy is going on.”— @amani2xchange
