The police authorities have arrested some of its operatives who attacked and injured an official of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA).
It would be recalled that a female LASTMA official, identified as Davids, was reportedly attacked in the Yaba area of the state, while questioning the police operatives for following a one-way road, over the weekend.

The video of Davids, a Deputy Superintendent of LASTMA, had surfaced online, where she could be seen with a serious cut on her, allegedly inflicted by the tricycle driver conveying the police officers plying the one-way.
It was learnt that the officers were serving in Area C command in Surulere.
Hakeem Odumosu, the Commissioner of Police in the state, while reacting to the incident, condemned the act of indiscipline by officers of the State Police Command.
CP Odumosu cautioned that the Command under his watch will not tolerate any act of indiscipline from any police officer.

He also revealed that the said policemen would be properly investigated and served their respective punishments to serve as a deterrent to other officers who might want to exercise indiscipline.
