Nigerian singer and songwriter, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has in a recent interview, disclosed that he didn't know he was born with a silver spoon until he got to a certain age.
The Afrobeat singer also talked about the kind of man his father was and his relationship with him while he was growing up.

Davido who recently donated the sum of two hundred and fifty million naira to orphanages in Nigeria, noted that he had no clue his family was very rich until he became a teenager.
According to the ‘Aza’ crooner, from the time he was a kid till now; his father has always been a humble man and is very modest in the way he spends or handles his business, which amazes him.
“I remember growing up from my younger days till I was like 11, I wasn’t really close to my dad because he was all about work, work, work,” Davido said.
“I would remember him coming home late every day, building something. I didn’t know what he was doing, I didn’t even know we were rich till probably I was like 13.”
He also revealed that as a kid, his father was a billionaire, driving a Honda accord at the time, while his mum had drove a Toyota, which helped to hide the fact that they were wealthy until they finally moved to a new house.
