Deborah Okezie, mother of Don-Davis Archibong, an abused Junior Secondary School student of Deeper Life High School, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, has revealed that the principal and house master has been remanded in prison while the two senior students are facing the juvenile court.
Nicolekaima’s blog reported that the plight of the victim, Don Davis, drew attention, after his mother, Deborah Okezie, cried out to Nigerians in a video posted on social media, pleading for help to get justice for her son who had been molested by seniors and starved despite not owing any school fees.

The victim had recounted how he suffered in the hands of a teacher and some senior students of the school, who sexually assaulted him in his dormitory by sticking their hands in his an*s when others were sleeping.
He also said the two bullies threatened to kill him if he ever reported the incident to the school authorities.
Giving updates of the case on her social media page, Deborah revealed that all five adults, which includes the Principal, the vice principal, the house masters and others where remanded in prison and given stringent bail conditions.

She added that the two seniors, who are still minors, would be tried in a juvenile family court, while the five adults would be tried in an open court.
