See How Iyabo Ojo’s Daughter, Priscilla, Is Following In Her Mother’s Footsteps


Lovers of Yoruba movies all know, or have seen the delectable actress, Alice Iyabo Ojo, on their screens.

She is one of the successful Nollywood actresses, who have built a niche for herself and even carved out her own place in the entertainment industry.

Besides being an actor, she is a movie producer, a director, and even a businesswoman anything to secure the bags. 

 Iyabo Ojo was born and bred in Lagos State. She got married at the age of 21 and had two children, Festus Oladunjoyo Ojo, and Priscilla Ajoke Ojo before her marriage hit the rocks. 

 She said severally at different interviews that she gave up her education, in order for her kids to be educated. Adding that she had only attended a polytechnic.

 Now, Her daughter, Priscilla Ajoke Ojo is following in her footsteps in the entertainment industry, as she's already making a name for herself. 

Priscilla who is currently 20 years old, started acting at a very tender age. At the age of 14, she was nominated for BON Award’s Best Child Actress. The nomination was for her role in the movie “Beyond Disability”, one year after winning the same category with her mother’s movie, ‘Silence’.

 Her mother has also played a huge role in her career, as she enrolled Priscilla at Babcock University, to study Media and Theatre Arts. Her reason for this was to ensure that Priscilla studied something related to filmmaking, in order for her to go professional with it.
In 2019, she also won 'Most Creative Youth of the Year'. From Enya Awards. 


She has now featured in her mother’s movies and other top Nollywood producers’ films. Including a recent Television Series called ‘Okirika’, which is powered by Startimes Nigeria. 


Priscilla has also been seen in the skits of popular Nigerian skitmakers like Broda Shaggi, Mr. Macaroni, and other social media comedians. 


And that's not all. Like her mother, she is a model and Brand influencer with over one million followers on Instagram. She has signed some Ambassadorial deals and is even into fashion business as well.

With Iyabo and her daughter, the vivid image of the phrase “like mother, like daughter” comes to mind.
