Price Hike: Nigerians React As Party Host Gives Foodstuffs As Souvenirs (Photos)

A video that captured the moment, guests were given foodstuffs as party souvenirs has set the internet agog.

The event which seemed to be an Owambe party saw different people dressed gorgeously for the occasion. However, as it drew closer to the end of the occasion, foodstuffs like plantains, rice and other ingredients were given out as souvenirs by the party hosts.

Reactions have since trailed the video with people assenting to the initiative as they decried the continuous hike in food prices. “Exactly, most souvenirs are low quality and useless plus very pricey oooooooo e.g jotter, face towels,nonn durable plastics etc” — Ayobespread
