Obi Cubana Reacts As Davido Donates N250m To Charity

Popular Nigerian socialite Obi Cubana has reacted to reports that singer Davido will be giving away all of his N200million birthday crowdfunding to charity, including a personal donation of N50million, Nicolekaima’s blog reports. 

It would be recalled that the Afrobeat singer had garnered about 200 million naira from friends and fans on his 29th birthday.

Davido had in a statement via Instagram, revealed that he will be adding an additional fifty million naira to the amount raised and donating the entire sum to charity. 

 Taking to his Instagram account to commend the Singer, Obi Cubana made a post, describing Davido as a king who would always be a king. He praised Davido for his philanthropy, which he said was impacting positivity in the world. “@davido donates 250m to orphanages! You see what we are talking about? A king will always be a king! We all rise by lifting others! It’s not about how much we have but having the mind to help when and where we can! 

“Together, we can all make the world a better place!!! Thank You King David for impacting the world positively….thank you!” Cubana wrote.
