According to SecretReporters, the lawmaker who is a Principal officer boarded British Airways from Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport around 9:30am.

Reports had it that as soon as he got to the point of entry, he was asked to step aside for a search while other travelers were asked brief questions and allowed to proceed. An aged immigration female officer asked him to open his luggage, while asking him several questions.

It was gathered that the Delta North lawmaker told the immigration officer that he was in London for medical reasons, “ I am a legislator,” he added. Something, according to the reports, which seemed to have incensed her, as she ordered him to call the hospital he was going for medical treatment.

The said lawmaker stood transfixed and hopeless as all efforts to call the hospital proved abortive.

It was learnt that the drama endured for over two grueling hours as the immigration officer did not budge, despite the fact that the lawmaker kept showing her documents sent from his wife via WhatsApp.

The lawmaker was reportedly asked to step aside, awaiting for further instructions from the top who would decide if he would be allowed to enter or not.
