Dan Nkolagu, Nollywood’s Popular ‘Native Doctor’ Is Dead



The nigerian movie industry, Nollywood, has yet again been thrown into mourning, as veteran actor, Dan Nkolagu passes on.

The aged movie star who is quite famous for his Native Doctor roles in nigerian home movies, died on Sunday, January 24.

His death is coming only a couple of weeks after another veteran, Jim Lawson Maduike, passed. 

Jim Lawson, who was an actor, was also a radio broadcaster, writer, and TV personality. He had joined the Nollywood movie industry in 2004 and had featured in more than 150 movies before his demise.
According to sources, the Imo State born Thespian allegedly died after complaining of body pains at around 12pm on Saturday, January 9, 2020.

Nollywood has recently lost many of its veterans, one of which is Chico Ejiro, the Isoko-Delta State-born filmmaker and CEO of Grand Touch Pictures, who passed on after seizures and complications related to hypertension on Christmas Day 2020.
