Police Station Under Attack As Officer Kills Innocent By-Stander In Surulere (Photos)

According to reports, the Surulere Police Division is currently under attack, and at least three officers, have been shot in the attack.

This is coming after a policeman reportedly shot a man, earlier thought to be an #EndSARS protester.

We gathered that the deceased was not part of the protest. He was said to be stuck in traffic due to the protests and when he came out to check what was going on, he was hit by a stray bullet from the random shot of a police officer. 

A video footage from the scene showed some medics struggling to keep him alive with drip and other equipment. 

The young man, who was dressed in a red T-shirt and black trouser reportedly gave up after efforts by young medics failed. 

There are also pictures showing another man with a bullet lodged in his thigh.

People are now wondering if the Nigerian authorities gave a shoot at sight order as today’s killing has brought the number of EndSARS protest deaths to at least five.

Violence has quickly taken over Surulere, as police officers and protesters clash.
